Apply today to become a Champion for Change with One Region Forward!
Are you resolved to make a difference in 2018?
The Champions for Change Program is a series of six workshops, homework, and teamwork over three months (starting 2/26 - 5/12). Champions for Change turn their ideas into action with practical tools, knowledge, and leadership skills.
Based on a match of talents and passions, Champions and University at Buffalo students work together in action planning teams. Champions also receive technical support through faculty mentors in collaboration with UB’s School of Architecture and Planning, UB Blackstone LaunchPad’s social entrepreneurship program, It Takes A Village Action Organization, and Groundwork Buffalo. Projects that align with Groundwork Buffo’s mission to regenerate vacant lots may be eligible for support beyond May 2018.
Applications are due by January 26, 2018. Early applications will be given special consideration.
