The vision for Buffalo Commons is that of a a collaborative space where theory and practice converge for the advancement of social innovation, economic progress, and the promotion of knowledge for the public good. It’s a abstract idea, but it’s also an actual place.

While the digital Commons can be accessed 24/7 on this web site, the physical Commons is located in the Market Arcade in downtown Buffalo; it provides a central location for faculty, staff, students, and the community to convene and work together on action-based research on a range of Buffalo issues.

This inclusive and adaptable space includes:

  • Multiple conference and meeting rooms with AV/VC capability;
  • Collective working spaces with technological tools;
  • Various subscription based platforms, including Adobe and ArcGIS Pro Suite; and
  • Work from Buffalo visual artists.

We invite you to contact us to learn more about how to get involved.
