Last June, New York State passed the Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act of 2019 which has significantly changed when and how tenants can be evicted. Also this year, New York State changed the "action level" of childhood lead poisoning, which also impacts what landlords must do to comply with lead poisoning prevention laws. More new laws about lead are still being written. Learn what you as a landlord and property manager must know about these changes and share your opinion about what New York State should do about lead at the upcoming information session and focus group.
