Evictions & Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP): Updates & Actions

The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) launched in June 2021 to provide rental and utility relief to New Yorkers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. But many things have changed since June 2021. The SCOTUS struck down a portion of the NYS eviction moratorium, and then a new one was established until January 15, 2022.  This workshop will share statewide and local updates on the ERAP program, what is happening with evictions and courts, and policy solutions for an equitable recovery.
