Prohibit Source of Income Housing Discrimination: DeAnna Eason and Dan Corbitt on The Public Good

Join us on The Public Good this week! We'll hear from DeAnna Eason and Dan Corbitt of Housing Opportunities Made Equal discussing the statewide effort to prohibit source of income discrimination in housing and other fair housing practices and policies in and around the region.

 

 

Although Civil Rights legislation has made it clear that housing discrimination is illegal under the law, some landlords practice income discrimination by having blanket policies that disallow use of Section 8 vouchers to pay for rent in their properties.
