Join us on The Public Good this week! We’ll hear from Sam Dolce and Anna Blatto of the Western New York Law Center discussing recent rate and fee increases and water policy in the City of Buffalo.
The City of Buffalo Water Rates and Fees increased on January 1, 2019 for the first time in over six years. The Buffalo Water Board also implemented the Residential Affordable Water Program, its first attempt at reducing the cost of water for low-income households. What do these rate increases mean for consumers? How can we work toward more equitable and fair water policies in the City of Buffalo?
Listen, and then read about some of the recent changes to the City of Buffalo water billing here.
The show will air live on Power 96.5 WNY at 7pm, and on PPG’s Facebook page at 1pm Tuesday, March 5th. You won’t want to miss it!
