Join us on The Public Good. This week, we speak with Daniel Cadzow, a PPG Policy Fellow and an advocate for environmental justice and equitable transportation infrastructure. We discuss Dan's new policy brief, looking at lead in Buffalo's water, and he shares his experience in his own home of lead contamination. His water and scale testing shows that lead may appear in unpredictable bursts, based on where outside construction and water service line replacements are happening, or due to combined sewage overflows. We discuss his recommendations for both residents and local government to curb instances of lead in water through filtration and infrastructure improvements.
Listen in on Tuesdays at 10:30 am on POWER 96.5 FM or MIX 1080 AM, or watch the video on our Facebook page.
