Dr. Griswold is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo. She works closely with the School of Nursing and the School of Social Work to improve healthcare access and community health for refugees and asylum seekers in Buffalo and Erie County. She is medical director at the WNY Center for Survivors of Refugee Trauma and Torture, which gathers evidence of torture and trauma and provides expert testimony during court appearances for asylum seekers.
