This fellowship opportunity is open to faculty, adjuncts, and post-docs at Western New York colleges and universities as well as Cornell University. Attached is the full Request For Proposals.

The fellowship pays a $5000 stipend and will last ten (10) months (March 1 to December 31, 2018). The outcome of this fellowship is to research and write an original work, aimed at a general audience, on a topic related to one of Open Buffalo’s issue campaigns or civic capacity areas (this may or may not be a popular version of a more academic work).

If you or someone you know is interested, we encourage you to send your proposal to PPG which includes your CV and a description of your project in 500 words or less to Sam Magavern, PPG executive director, sam@ppgbuffalo.org, by January 31, 2018.

The full RFP is attached.  Feel free to reach out to Kristin Szczepaniec at ks844@cornell.edu if you have any questions. We appreciate your help and look forward to learning more about the great work that is happening here in Western New York.
